A democrat with guts: State Senator Jim Kastama moves to keep Harper from being seated.

As I have been saying all along, Moxie Media should not be rewarded with getting their thug seated in the senate. And now, Democrat Puyallup State Senator Jim Kastama is showing the character typically unheard of in his caucus by introducing legislation to keep Nick Harper from being seated.

There's no reason for Harper, who was the beneficiary of Moxie Media's underhanded and illegal politics, now under suit by the State Attorney General, should be seated. Their should, in fact, be a special election to determine who should hold the seat.

The democrats hold enough of a majority in the senate, and Senator Hewitt, Republican leader, has already offered to hold his vote in abeyance should Harper not be seated until a special election is held.

I'm under no illusions that a Republican can take this seat, which went democrat by some 70% or so. This isn't about that...

This is about doing the right thing. And in this instance, the right thing includes not seating the beneficiary of Moxie's politics... the Boss Hogg style that Senate Democrat Leader Lisa Brown obviously favors, since she got the fringe-leftist she wanted instead of the re-election of veteran democrat Senator Jean Berkey.
