.
Earlier this week, I posed the following question: "So where's the outrage?"
Well, they finally got it in.
Not quite at the same level as the Battle Ground School District, you understand, where editorials brought down hell fire and damnation... so to speak... and now, suddenly, alleged Ridgefield "residents" claim they "don't mind.
They don't HAVE to mind... we can do it for them, because it's not like the money these clowns are vaporizing just comes from the Ridgefield residents who "don't mind."
This is the kind of tin ear of government that has lead us to where we are. Spending our money is something they do effortlessly... without thought or concern over those providing it.
I give the Columbian credit for this article and their concern over this outright waste of $5000-$6000.
Of course, I remain mystified over their insistence that we should waste $4 to $8 BILLION on a bridge with loot rail that our community neither needs or wants, but hey; $5000 of waste at a time?
Hell, at that rate, it'll only take a few thousands years to equal the criminal waste this newspaper advocates every time they write about the steaming pile they want so badly, and will pay so little for if it's ever built.
Still, a crumb or two of a loaf of bread is better then no bread at all.
