It's long been established that the Democratian cares only about their agenda. And their agenda is the horrific waste of money that, at base, will be required to resurrect the CRC/Loot Rail scam they so vociferously supported... lied about...exaggerated about... censored the news over... and generally attacked anyone who dared stand in the way of that multi-billion dollars waste of money.
So, when other ideas are floated, no matter what they are or no matter what level of common sense they show, the Democratian will do all they can to destroy those ideas and those who support them.
The proposal to build a west side bypass of Portland is no exception.
That proposal leaves out the number one issue for the rag: introducing the fungus of loot rail to Clark County.
Face it, loot rail is an abysmal failure... a failure the rag refuses to acknowledge. But the reality is that the two largest cities in the Northwest United States have wasted billions on that garbage and intend to waste billions more... and what do they have to show for it?
Well, the two cities in question, Seattle and Portland, are among the cities with the worst traffic in the world.
And that's AFTER wasting these billions.
Replacing the paid-for, function and safe I-5 Bridge with a west-side bypass is the only solution that makes sense.
But because such an idea runs afoul of the rag's agenda... not to mention the rest of the downtown mafia's agenda, it's automatically rejected.
There's no excuse for that, of course. Using the self-serving idiocy of the CRC Scammers lies as a reason certainly provides zero justification. But it's how the rag rolls, because, as we know, figures don't lie... but liars sure figure.
As the Oregon Supreme Court noted,

Well, that doesn't get printed.
After all, has the rag said anything about our esteemed County Chair, Marc Boldt, getting bitch-slapped by the PDC?
Nope.

Regardless. When the rag brings up a self-serving observation by the criminals who attempted to ram this rip off down our throats, there's no reason t believe it. Instead, believe your own common sense and understand that ANY route that bypasses the downtown and Highway 26 morass every morning and evening will be MUCH faster than slogging it out through the Portland Soviet.
That the rag won't agree doesn't go to the facts... of, no. Instead, it goes back to their agenda: we, the rag, oppose it: we, the rag, have to make up a reason.
And if such a route goes through some neighborhoods, I have to wonder why they care. After all, didn't they support the TriMet scam where the scum on the CTran board bent Clark County over for $5 million in the event that TriMet..... TRIMET... an UNELECTED, OUT OF STATE AGENCY wouldn't get the final say on THER eminent domain demands?
And how weird is that?
TriMet could mow down entire neighborhoods for their scam, and this very rag would have ZERO problems with that as long as it's for the CRC/Loot Rail scam.
But come up with some other idea... something outside the agenda box that the cancer on our community demands we use....and nope.... can't be done.
It CAN be done. It makes the most sense of all. But these people want to rape us to get what they want no matter WHAT the people want, no matter HOW much time, effort and energy a new route that also has the added bonus of keeping the loot rail leprosy out of community actually realizes.
Because it's not their agenda, you see. And the only thing allowed to happen?
Why... whatever it is THEY want to happen.
