Reminder: The Legislature must ignore McCleary

Leave it to our democrat daily to whine about McCleary, and leave it to RINO Paul Harris to play along.

The reality is clear: the Court has no power... or ability... to order the Legislature to do anything. Period.

RINOs such as Harris must be held accountable if they vote for anything merely because nine little elves in robes decreed it.  There is nothing in the state constitution that empowers any branch of government to order any other branch of government to do anything.

There is zero mechanism for the Court to retaliate in any way against the legislature as a whole or individually for making the correct decision to tell these leftist WEA hacks to go pound sound.

The left slavishly follows the Court's dictates in this instance simply because the Court is implementing the will of their campaign contributors, the WEA.

Our wallets get raped by leftists enough without bending over for these idiots merely because the left in the Legislature seems to believe we should.

If the Legislature DOES go along with this insanity, there's no end to what havoc the Court can order.

Maybe next, they'll order the Legislature to implement an income tax.  Maybe they'll formally tax the entire state for Seattle's Big Dig, instead of just screwing us with Ann "Gas Tax" River's betrayal.  Maybe any number of things will happen if the Legislature caves on this.

Ignore the local Pravda.  Throwing more money at incompetent, uncaring and unsuccessful teachers won't suddenly make them competent, caring OR successful.  Educational success is base on teacher accountability... of which we have, essentially, none.

If the Leg caves on this.... they... and we... will regret it as much as I regret ever supporting anyone else who lies to get into office.

Because if they get their own way?

There's no end to the taxes and fees they'll order.  Because the caving of our legislature sends the message to the Court... why not?

I'm reminded of this fellow:
John Emerich Edward Dalberg-Acton, 1st Baron Acton, KCVO DL (10 January 1834 – 19 June 1902)—known as Sir John Dalberg-Acton, 8th Baronet, from 1837 to 1869 and usually referred to simply as Lord Acton—was an English Catholic historian, politician, and writer. He was the only son of Sir Ferdinand Dalberg-Acton, 7th Baronet[1] and a grandson of the Neapolitan admiral Sir John Acton, 6th Baronet.[2][3] He is perhaps best known for the remark,
"Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Great men are almost always bad men."[4]

And man, has our Supreme Court proven this theorem, or what?
