OK.
Women will never be equal to men in the military.
The ongoing scam of allowing women in combat arms leads to this kind of insanity:
"...retrofitted for women."
OK.
I'll bite.
What, exactly, does THAT mean?
Retrofitted HOW? How much is this insanity going to cost?
I've been to Benning. They have several hundreds of buildings available, right now, today, that could, can and DO house women. What do they need to be retrofitted FOR?
What do these women need that men don't already have?
We had mixed barracks as far back as the first massive expansion of insanity, which is relying on women in the military AT ALL.
My platoon was tasked to carry bathtubs... BATHTUBS... to the 4th floor of a building on Graves Kaserne in Aschaffenburg, FRG back in 74 or so.
Exactly what the hell did they need bathtubs for?
And why couldn't they have carried them up 4 flights of stairs themselves?
And will these women have to pass the mail PT standards to be a tanker?
Is this tiny woman going to be able to toss these things around? Can she load a tank with them? Can she "break track?"
What if she can't?
Who picks up her slack?
What if troops get killed because of her and those like her?
I get it.
No one cares.
But how many will have to bleed because of this insanity?

Port Orchard woman to be among first female tank operators
By The Associated PressPublished: April 15, 2016, 6:44 AM 0 PORT ORCHARD, Wash. (AP) — A Port Orchard woman has signed on to be among the first female tank operators.
The Kitsap Sun reports that 18-year-old Levani Ilasa enlisted Wednesday in the Army as an M1 armor crewman. Armor, cavalry and other combat jobs opened to women April 1.
Ilasa says she wanted to make an impact by being among the first female tankers, but also that she understands it’s just like any other job.
Ilasa will report for duty in March once facilities at Fort Benning, Georgia, are refitted for women.
Another Port Orchard woman is enlisting as a fire support specialist for a field artillery team but she hasn't been formally sworn in."Ilasa will report for duty in March once facilities at Fort Benning, Georgia, are refitted for women."
