OK. They slaughtered us again. What do we do about it?

Some of it's obvious:

1.  End allowing any visits or immigration from any muslim country.
2.  Identify and register the entirety of the muslim population of this country, including our military.
3.  Close all mosques.
4.  Lock up all radicals.
5.  Close down the ISIS training centers WITHIN OUR BORDERS.

Deport those even suspected of ISIS or any other terrorist activity or support.

Yes, I know civil libertarians will recoil in horror at the very thought of these actions.

But here's the thing: we are at war with islam.

Those who claim we are not are being deliberately obtuse.

Clearly, islam has no interest in policing itself, so we have to do it for them.

As I sit here watching this on my computer... and satellite dish... I've heard one of these leftists bleat "we're not a totalitarian society and this is going to be what happens in a free society."

Well, I agree to a certain extent.  We are not a totalitarian society.

But we ARE a society at war.  And what we have is a choice: do we do what's needed to excise the cancer on humanity?

Or do we allow that cancer to consume us?

Some, at this point, will start quoting Franklin:
"... those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety."
The backgrounder on that quote is fascinating:
SIEGEL: And what was the context of this remark?

WITTES: He was writing about a tax dispute between the Pennsylvania General Assembly and the family of the Penns, the proprietary family of the Pennsylvania colony who ruled it from afar. And the legislature was trying to tax the Penn family lands to pay for frontier defense during the French and Indian War. And the Penn family kept instructing the governor to veto. Franklin felt that this was a great affront to the ability of the legislature to govern. And so he actually meant purchase a little temporary safety very literally. The Penn family was trying to give a lump sum of money in exchange for the General Assembly's acknowledging that it did not have the authority to tax it.
Thus, the question is begged:

What, exactly, is "essential liberty?"

The first element of "essential" here, to my mind, means being alive.

One has to be alive to enjoy ANY degree of liberty.

Thus, I believe that we must take the needed steps required to continue to live.

The five action items I listed at the beginning of this post would, arguably (if implemented) increase the chances of successfully living up to that requirement.

The issue then is clear: what steps can we take to improve on that likelihood of survival?  I believe that my suggestions would do that.

The alternative is... what?

Do nothing?  Act like this hasn't happened?  Act like it ISN'T happening?

No.  We cannot play the role of tarantula to an islamic tarantula wasp.

We have been sitting on our collective asses allowing this decay... both on the issue of terrorism and illegal aliens.

If we don't act NOW... then what is it going to take?

How many in a given attack have to be slaughtered before we do what must be done to save ourselves?

A thousand?  TEN thousand?

How much is enough?

And what do we do about it?
