Boehner Unloads At Conservative Groups That Oppose The Budget Deal: 'This Is Ridiculous!'
House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) snapped at conservative groups that have come out in opposition to the budget deal reached Wednesday between Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) and Sen. Patty Murray (D-Wash.).
AP- Speaker John "Clueless" Boehner AP"They're using the American people for their own purposes. This is ridiculous," Boehner said at a press conference with other members of House Republican leadership on Wednesday.Over the past few days, a number of conservative groups have blasted the deal because it sets discretionary spending levels in the budget higher than previous levels under sequestration.
In the past three days, the influential Heritage Action, Club for Growth, Americans for Prosperity, and FreedomWorks have all signaled they would oppose the deal. They have all argued that while imperfect, the sequester has provided the only effective check on the Obama administration's spending.
This moron has overseen the addition of trillions to the massive federal debt, all in the face of looming disaster. They have once again kicked the can down the road so that our follow-on generations are going to have to deal with this stupidity.
The entire basis for this "deal" is cowardice. The GOP doesn't want to do what has to be done, because it wouldn't be pleasant, tough decisions would have to be made, and clueless morons like our very own Jaime Herrera will continue to cast a blind eye at this mess while she continues in her do-nothing tenure.
The GOP had the chance to do the right thing here; and like so many other chances, they blew it.
I've got to tell you: if Dingethal would actually do the heavy lifting on the CRC and the budget deficit while working to repeal that hideous Obamacare, I'd vote for him.
But Mr. Speaker, you're no better than the scumbag in the White House, and I hope you choke on your tanning oil.
