When they get it right, they get it right. Clark County GOP reprimands Herrera on her pro-Obama sell out.

This is a good start.  But the question now is this:

What next?

This isn't the first time that Jaime has tossed us under the bus; after all, she IS doing Cathy McMorris's bidding here, since Cathy owns her like the 13th Amendment abolishing slavery is but a mere suggestion.

On a matter of such gravity for Herrera to join with her fellow leftists to injure her constituents and damage the country, there should be, I would think, a greater penalty to pay.

Marc Boldt's repetitive sell outs, in comparison, were a scratch in the paint compared to this "eight killed in the intersection" train wreck... and she should suffer for it accordingly.

Dear Congresswoman,

The Executive Board of the Clark County Republican Party feels it necessary to address the very public comments you made in your October 15th Press Release in which you stated “It’s time for my colleagues to face reality.”

Lee Atwater once said “Perception is reality”. As elected representatives of the grassroots and the local Republican Party, our perception regarding the so called “Affordable Healthcare Act” and “Debt Ceiling” appears to differ significantly from your perspective in Washington D.C. As we see it, this is no longer about how to spend the citizen’s tax dollars, but rather now it has become an issue of distributing pain through debt to our children and grandchildren.  We look to you to represent us by leading in D.C. not “...... give House Republican leaders leeway to craft the best deal they could.”  A deal that in our perception (reality) was a major setback to your constituents and the American people.

Once again, it was a minority of Republican Representatives that voted with all 198 of Democrats that allowed passage of this resolution.  Of the 232 Republican Representatives voting, a majority of 144 voted no on this Resolution. And how disappointing it is that not one from Washington State decided to stand for the citizens of WashingtonState. House Speaker John Boehner said yesterday, “We fought the good fight. We just didn’t win.” We submit all 87 surrendered.

In parting we would like to leave you with a thought expressed by yet another great American:

“Cowardice asks the question, 'Is it safe?' Expediency asks the question, 'Is it politic?' But conscience asks the question, 'Is it right?' And there comes a time when one must take a position that is neither safe, nor politic, nor popular but because conscience tells one it is right.”

Sincerely,

The Clark County Republican Party Board of Directors.
