Another example of why the democratian is to be despised: they lie. Apparently, on purpose. (UPDATE: error has been partially fixed.)

The first involves the timing of Madore's quote; that was an error on my part in not double-checking with the reporter who wrote the story. The second involves when the language of the resolution became available. If there is confusion over that, it's because it was poorly worded on my part. I apologize for the errors. Still present and still troubling is the reference to the Benton hiring, a specious reference that had no place in the editorial.

One of Lefty Lou Brancaccio's many problems is this: his paper lies.

Now, there aren't all that many reasons why a newspaper WOULD lie.  Unless, of course, that was editorial policy.

In this case, the fish obviously rots from the head, down.

But here's the thing, thanks, once again to Lew Waters.

 I have a difficult time believing it to be a simple error, given numerous contacts of the error throughout the day and it still remaining.

But, even if they do correct it online, it is likely it went out in the printed edition to both subscribers.

Absence of malice?

Update: Over 24 hours since first notification and the error has not been changed nor have they responded on it.

More and more it appears to be a deliberate smear. In our view: C-Tran Plan Has Holes

This kind of thing is problematic.  What is the value of a news organization when they wrongly report the news and do it with such an obvious slant and bias?

And then this garbage:

And this despicable rag wonders why anyone to the right of Stalin hates them?

Why can't they apply the same standard either to themselves, or to someone on the left?  Like this:

Why is it that we never see that sort of thing?

Brancaccio and the rest of the scum there give the left a pass: compared, for example, to Jim Moeller's theft of  per diem and Jim Jacks' drunken molestation of female staff in the legislature, this obsessive hatred of Madore is the kind of thing that cements the psychotic nature of Brancaccio's management; the years of abuse that slimeball encouraged from the departed-but-not-missed pit yorkie, John Laird, for example, even in the midst of Brancaccio's bizarre "civility offensive."

There is no excuse for this.  None.  And the more Lefty bitches about the Benton hiring, the more I know it was the right thing to do.  It's like a simple equation.  he harder the scum at the democratian push, the more dug-in the majority will get.

Madore is either correct about this (and of course, he is) or he isn't. 

The Benton hiring is even more irrelevant to this situation than it is generally.  And if Madore IS right, then THAT is where the focus of attention should be.

Benton IS hired: the hiring WAS legal; there's nothing anyone can do about it except get over it.  But that hiring has so poisoned the leftist well, that the scum at the democratian simply cannot let it go.

And this serves as the prime example of why this paper is failing.

And failing, it is.  And it's their own fault.
