A little more proof that ClarkBackwards is a democrat front group.

As I've been stating since their inception, the efforts by democrats Stuart and Kimsey to engage in a legal coup to overturn the will of the voters because they didn't happen to like last November's outcomes, and, of course, because Steve Stuart reads the writing on the wall for November of next year's outcomes.... is but a democrat front group:

          What’s our plan for regaining lost ground?

At a recent meeting of the fledgling local political action group Team ClarkForward (aka ClarkBackward) Mike Gaston, former chief of the local Republican Party, couldn’t help but boast a little. He noted that when he first became head of the Grand Old Party 23 years ago, Clark County was Democratic.

Every partisan office in the county building from the board of commissioners to the sheriff’s department was held by a Democrat. Among the nine legislators representing parts of Clark County in Olympia, Sen. Hal Zimmerman of Camas was the only Republican. The county had been represented in the U.S. House of Representatives by a long string of Democrats from Julia Butler Hansen to Jolene Unsoeld. The county had supported a similar string of Democratic governors and was always solidly among the hefty majorities that kept on sending Warren Magnuson and Henry “Scoop” Jackson back to the U.S. Senate.

Since Gaston became the leader, the minority party has become the majority. He estimated that the county that was just 40 percent Republican in 1990 is now 54 percent Republican.

This effort is a completely organized and supported effort by the democrats, who are throwing this hissy fit because they didn't happen to like the outcomes of the last election.

Quoting the former GOP CHAIR (As opposed to "chief") is certainly a sign of support of what he's trying to do: help overturn the will of the people.

Democrats are now 1000% behind the charter effort, although just two years ago, when democrats were running the commission, the same guy who wrote the article above wrote this pap:

Clark County’s government structure is somewhat antique and outdated. A system invented to manage road construction and not much else in the way of governance clanks along clumsily in a high-speed era of complex and varied civic action.

Streamlining and modernizing the machine appeals to the progressive psyche, but the folks who have convinced the Board of Clark County Commissioners to consider adopting a new county charter have other agenda priorities.

They hope to give rural interests dominance over urban values. They suppose they can make it harder for county government to raise and spend money on social problems and infrastructure capital.

They are far away from achieving their goals, but inattention from thoughtful citizens could ease their path.

Without much evident public support, the charter-change advocates have persuaded the county commissioners to start the ball rolling toward charter change for the third time in recent history. In January the board formally adopted a resolution to consider a move from the present form of government to something different.

Different how? That depends entirely on a panel of elected freeholders and how ably they can sell their program.

So far the county commissioners have ordained that, should the charter process go forward, each of the three commissioner districts will be represented by five freeholders who would be elected at the Nov. 8 general election. Any registered voter would be qualified to seek election to the board of freeholders. Upon their election the freeholders would establish a schedule of hearings and meetings for the consideration of what might be included in a new county charter. Upon a majority vote by the freeholders, the Board of Clark County Commissioners would be obliged by tradition if not certainly by law to lay the proposed charter before the electorate.

How often have we heard that the left accuses the GOP of wanting to go back in time to Jim Crow days and other garbage of that sort?

And now, we see the left longing for the days when they weren't irrelevant around here and frequently expressing fear that the trend of irrelevance will grow even more.

Thus, the democrat sock puppet organization known as ClarkBackward is entirely owned and operated by the left.

So, when does the local GOP act against these fake Republicans?  What's the hold up?
