Memo to CRUDEC: Knock it off.

CRUDEC has become a cancer on our community almost equal to that of the democratian.

They were major cheerleaders for the CRC Scam.  Naturally, they were pissed when the best plans of mice and men fell into the river.  So, we get this as a result:
Reactions to the project’s demise are deeply divided, just as they were to the massive $3.4 billion bridge and light-rail project itself. Matt Brislawn, owner of a small downtown guitar shop, is relieved that his lower Washington Street building will not be swamped by a light-rail onramp. Other downtown property owners welcome the certainty of the status quo, even if they supported a new bridge and rail transit.
But Lisa Nisenfeld, president of the Columbia River Economic Development Council, a jobs-promoting nonprofit, believes the failure of the CRC will make it harder to attract jobs. Prospective employers often inquired about the CRC, she said. “The sentence usually goes, ‘They are going to build the bridge aren’t they?’ ” Nisenfeld said.
While that MAY be true (And I emphasize "may," given the propensity of CRC Scammers to lie at the drop of a budget) the fact is that the question, if ever asked, was asked based on a lie set as to the benefits of the construction of this rip off.

CRC Scammers would have liked us to believe that yoking this community with tolls for 45 years or so and wasting these billions on a loot rail project would have solved every transportation ill known to Clark County.

That's nonsense, of course.  But businesses who depend on the false information provided by the Scammers would obviously want this rip off built.

Now, CRUDEC needs to spend as much time backtracking from their, and the other liar's efforts to re-educate those they've been scamming for all these years.  That way, building (or not building) the bridge becomes the non-issue it truly is, since NO business would make the determination to locate here based on this extortion, and CRUDEC's efforts to continue that lie shows that, once again, they're completely out of touch with the local community.

And what's going to drive that fact home?

Based on the CRUDEC garbage, no business would set foot in Clark County because we weren't going to destroy our local economy by buying their scam.

So, first, that means CRUDEC should just shut down.  After all, if they're to be believed, no business is ever moving here in the future... so what point do they serve in even being around?

Second, it means that every time a business DOES move here, we'll have to question them:

"Wait a second: weren't you a part of the CRC Scammer group that kept lying to us about business NOT moving here if the CRC Scam wasn't built?"
