Steve Stuart seems butthurt over "cronyism." Obama engages in "cronyism" every day without a peep from the left...

I am not in a state of mind to write cogently about the abuses of power and brazen cronyism I witnessed today. I will only say this: check out the link below, updated/associated articles, read the C this weekend if you haven't heard enough, and if you have a problem with it (or with my reaction to it), SPEAK OUT!

#1) County Commission hearing next Tuesday evening, 6pm, Public Service Center Hearing Room.

In service,
Steve

It' NOT "in service."  It's"in partisan rancor."  It's "inblinding rage."  It's in
"rank hypocrisy."

OK, Steve, feel free to comment on this:

WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama will tap Chicago business executive Penny Pritzker to be the next Commerce Secretary on Thursday, a White House official told the Chicago Sun-Times.
Obama will make the announcement at 9 a.m. Chicago time during an event at the White House before he departs for Mexico City.
The White House official said Obama “has selected Penny because she is one of the most accomplished and highly respected women in business today. With more than 25 years of experience in the real estate, hospitality, senior living, financial services and other industries, Penny knows what it takes to build, grow, and invest in a business, and will be a strong advocate for policies that help grow the economy and create jobs.
“She also is an effective manager and successful entrepreneur, helping to build five companies from the ground up, and creating thousands of jobs. These are all skills that will be extremely valuable for the Commerce Department and the Administration.”
Pritzker — who turns 54 on Thursday — served as national finance chair for Obama’s presidentital 2008 campaign. The team she led was successful in making Obama’s bid viable, quickly raising enough campaign cash from major donors to demonstrate he had the ability to take on then front-runner Hillary Rodham Clinton.
If it's so troubling for you at the local level, where's your commentary when it takes place at the state and federal level?

And when you're set to vaporlock again...  remember this:
However, the county provides a few exceptions to the requirement that job positions be publicly advertised, and says elected officials have the discretion to appoint department heads.
Apparently, when actual Republicans are in charge, the phrase: "... elected officials have the discretion to appoint department heads" is simply beyond the comprehension of CRC Scammers and the local democratic daily newsletter.

Memo, Scammers: your faux outrage here is both you hitting back for Benton doing major damage to the CRC, AND the fact that he's a conservative.

The rest of it?

Crocodile tears.

Just sayin'.

  1. Liberal heads exploding all over Clark County.

Amazing how infantile they become when they don't get their way.

I'd like to find a copy of the County Commissioners Code of Ethics to see whether or not his outburst and profanity directed towards Commissioner Mielke violates it.

  2. Cronyism is sucky BUT courtesy is earned NOT owed, and pro-CRCers have abused the courtesy of everyone around them such that shit like this happens.
