We know Obama would throw his own mother under a bus to get elected (having, in fact, thrown his GRANDmother under a bus for that very purpose) and we know he's had a history of lies, distortions and exaggerations.
So, when the Administration tells us they did NOT know about the embassy attacks in advance, or that they had "no actionable intelligence," or that they were NOT premeditated; or the biggest hoot, that it resulted from a Youtube video while their policies and efforts have been perfection personified... do we believe them?
After all, this is yet another one of their typical, major screwups... and there's been so many of those that they all slam together, kind of like white noise.
ORRRRR.... do we listen to the Libyan official who claims he provided 3 days warning or the Libyan president who tells us "there is no doubt the attacks were preplanned?"
That's a toughy.
After all, what's Obama got to lose for taking responsibility for this mess... and when has he taken responsibility for any other, instead preferring to blame it all on Bush like he was genetically engineered to do so?
I could believe Obama.... if he hadn't lied with the frequency of his breathing.
We have two choices: we can believe they didn't know, in witch case Obama has taken another bold step in proving what an incompetent waste of skin he really is... or we can disbelieve him, in which case, his Administration is responsible for the murders of several Americans.
Actually, either way, this is all on him.
His watch. He's the captain. The Buck Stops There.
His lack of integrity and cowardice, when combined with his absurd incompetence show the world that our leadership is weak, rudderless and easy to attack. Obama's apparent befuddlement?
Well, that's what happens when you elect a cowardly, empty-suited, anti-American racist bigot.
So who should be surprised?
Dude, it's a hard place to be when you start believing Islamists have your back over an American president!
ReplyDeleteIt's time to pull up your tent and go move someplace with truth and honor in government 'cause this place ain't gonna change for at least 4 years.
precisely.
ReplyDeleteGuy, I was being farcical. You can't be so over the top and expect people to take you seriously - I didn't. (I hope you were engaging in poetic license.)
ReplyDeleteHere's the problem, Martin:
ReplyDeleteYou want me to provide the list of times this guy has lied, overstated, understated, manipulated and exaggerated?
How do we KNOW when he's telling the truth?
I, for example, have information from an irrefutable source that the Marines were not carrying... not allowed to carry... ammunition in Cairo.
And that... is insane.
That's the trouble, you see, when you blow your credibility early on (How's that "pass this stimulus and it'll keep unemployment under 8% thing" working out?) and something really, really important... something that can severely damage your re-election hopes, happens?
Do we believe Obama when he, again, denies any responsibility for this outcome?
Do we believe him when, if he admitted it, it would crush him politically?
Or do we believe the evidence that these attacks were everything he... and his administration... say they are not?
As the resident cynic, I cannot believe Obama on this.
The simplest explanation is often the best one. Given Obama's incompetence on the economy, his DOJ screw ups, his mishandling of simple things like the Keystone, his screwing up Iraq and Afghanistan... and his failure to respond properly in this episode, moronically blaming this on a fricking 14 minute video...NOT EVEN SKIPPING FUNDRAISERS...
Obama's been stuck on stupid since he got the job. And this tends to show it.
In this instance, I believe the Libyan Administration over ours. Because the evidence seems much more powerful that they knew at least 2 or 3 days before these attacks that something was going to happen. Why, for example, was the Ambassador at a consulate instead of in a much more easily defended Embassy, with Marines to guard him, presuming they were actually allowed bullets?
Stupid is as stupid does... and in this outcome-based business, his outcomes almost everywhere just suck.
