Further, Marc Boldt is my brother in law, and I worked for him as his legislative assistant for 6 years while he was in the state house.)
By now the Boldt Campaign (aka The Columbian) has let the entire planet know that David Madore sent out a mailer with a few mistakes on it. They've pillaried him (again) for making those mistakes, and put up another campaign piece for their boy Boldt.
Madore has now spent a very substantial amount of money... and time... apologizing... because the rag knocked him off message... which is, after all, the name of the game.
Well... that and competency... as in, how could a mailer like that have gone out without fact checking? Who's responsible? Who's been fired over this?
But that's for another post.
The rank hypocrisy and bias of it all?
Boldt lied through his teeth on his mailer, and the rag doesn't say a word about that.
So, Marc.... where's YOUR mailer apologizing for YOUR lies?
I don't see it. And I DON'T see the rag making any effort to hold YOU accountable.
But then, you could knock over a 7-11 and the rag would just call it a "forced fund raiser."
And how sad... and worthless... is that?

ReplyDeleteInteresting blog, Kelly. I'll bet it makes for some lively conversations around the dinner table at Thanksgiving and holidays. Lol. :-)

Not really. Haven't talked to Marc since he lied to me about holding a county-wide CRC vote back in late Febuary, 2010.
ReplyDeleteHe promised he would do so, he had no intention of doing so... said as much... and that's when the gloves came off.
His complete left turn would out Kip Takuda Kip Takuda.
Kelly, your best one liner of the YEAR! I believe you should some award for it!
