Retraction: Concerning Stephanie Rice and the Boldt family, etc.

In an earlier post, I took Stephanie Rice to task for softballing Commissioner Marc Boldt over his multiple violations of the conflict of interest law of this state.

Based on incorrect, and verified but still incorrect (the source recanted) information, I had indicated that Rice was in a relationship with a close friend of the extended family of my in-laws.

I can now categorically state that the observations in question, since deleted, are absolutely incorrect and to the best of my knowledge, Stephanie Rice doesn't even know the person in question.

I strive to get my information right.  Like the Columbian, however, I do make mistakes, and this is one of those times.

I publicly apologize to Stephanie Rice for so much of the posts relating to her attendance and relationship with a member of my extended family.

I regret any harm or inconvenience that may have caused her or her family, personally or professionally.
