"You will never be the best version of yourself if you allow other people to convince you, you can't be better because of your skin color, because of your sexual identity, because of the community you came from... you must resist those narratives at all costs if you truly want to be successful in America." - Charley Kirk

Well, at least Brancaccio admits he's "baffled."

I, for one, think it's dangerous that the local daily is under the control of someone who even admits they're clueless, confirming what long time readers have known for so long.

James, maybe you could help me with something. As you know we don't always agree. But you're a bright guy and I've always respected you. What I need help with is how you -- and others -- can think I'm so liberal but many others who comment think I'm so conservative? This has always baffled me. (I always hope my columns don't turn into a discussion on this issue but it always seems to.) Thanks.

The reasons that Brancaccio and his rag are fringe left are many and obvious.

In every way, from allowing a total communist nutjob to trash anyone to the left of Lenin using his column (Yeah, I'm talking about John Laird) to allowing democrat politicians like Jim Jacks and Jim Moeller to skate from being held responsible for their actions... To slavishly following the "Occupy" idiocy without even giving mention to Tea Party functions... while literally trashing those they disagree with by lies, distortions, half truths and complete falsehoods... to supporting a bizarre, multi-billion dollar waste of money (CRC)... and demanding extortion in the form of taxes from 400,000 of us to pay for a ballpark that will make THEM money... all, of course, without Brancaccio offering up HIS crap shack to pay any of these taxes... left and the edge of left is where this guy lives, and it takes a monumental amount of self-delusion to not understand that.

And this Brancaccio is "baffled?"

Well, so am I.   But MY bafflement rests rests with the difficulty I have understanding how this blithering moron still has a job.

I guess we all have issues confronting us that we find "baffling." It's just a shame that the local paper, which his leadership has already bankrupted once, still has a job.

Right, Lou?
