Sources are telling me that democrats are sneaking in the Carcieri Fix.

Sources tell me that buried in all of the bills buzing around Congress right now is the Carcieri Fix; the tribal answer to the USSC Carceri Decision that effectively killed the Cowlitz Megacasino.

The Tribes, of course, want it all their own way. In short, as the Cowlitz have so elloquently put it as they've worked to get their organized criminal enterprise rammed down our throats: screw you.

While the language to "fix" that decision is contained within a House bill, several senators, including Reid, Feinstein, Boxer, Kyl and McCain have made it clear that they oppose this.

But in this atmosphere... who knows? More as I get it.
