Gotta ask: why was Bittner "released to his parents?"

Is this the kind of service we can expect from union thug Tony Golik if he's magically elected prosecutor?

The charges:

He is being investigated on suspicion of eight charges: possession of marijuana with intent to deliver; manufacturing marijuana; possession of a controlled substance; using a building for drug activity; unlawful possession of narcotic medication; forgery; possession of stolen property and unlawful possession of payment instruments.

Of course, he's also being investigated for the aforementioned armed home invasion, but hey, it's a small town newspaper and, what the heck, you can't expect them to know or write everything correctly... can you?

All of which begs the point:

Bittner spent the night in jail before making a first court appearance Friday. He was released to his parents’ supervision by Clark County Superior Judge Roger Bennett.

Why?

By definition, this guy is an adult. He has multiple charges including a violent felony pending, and Judge Bennett OR'd him? To his parents?

This couldn't have happened without the acquiescence of the prosecutor. And, as the so-called "chief criminal deputy," doesn't that track back to democrat/union thug Tony Golik?

Some "crime fighter."

Bittner should still be in jail, or bail set at some figure that actually makes sense... say, $500,000.

Releasing him to his parents might.... MIGHT.... make sense if he was a 12 year old, but not an adult.

And that's on you, Golik.
