So, light rail fans... you see what a joke the system is in this kind of weather?

Max trains at a stand-still in Portland. Hundreds of millions spent... and what are they doing?

Bringing in busses and evacuating the light rail trains because of frozen switches.

People have been stuck in the same place for, in some case, 2.5 hours.

Billions of dollars for this?

I think not.

Don't laugh. You'll be getting it soon enough. There's an upside, though: most crime gets concentrated withing three blocks of a line. So if you don't drive within the three-block radius, you should be ok.

Getting what? A train system that freezes up in cold weather? And paying $4 billion just for starters?
