When Republicans are stupid: The $2000 Mastercard Hurricane Relief card.

So... we're giving $2000 Mastercards out like samples, with no accountability or limits on their use.

Well, here's the inevitable outcome:



So far, the US Government has committed $63,000 to each man, woman and child in the effected area. Best estimates are that they can expect 3 times as much in the near future.

Thus, a family of 4 will receive the equivlent in grants of $856,000 each... with no strings and no requirement to pay it back.

And that is just plain stupid.
