“Unfortunately, this kind of gas tax increase, especially when so much of it would go to Seattle, would go over around here like a lead balloon tied to a lead weight tied to a lead anchor. Then the anchor will be tied to every Democratic state leg candidate in 2006. “
I would submit that Republicans foolish enough to vote for this could easily be included in that statement as well.
