The Columbian: Burnishing their ultra-liberal credentials

Once again The Columbian cements its leftist leaning with their support of HB 1515, the homosexual mainstreaming bill.

For three consecutive years the Washington state House has approved by wide margins a bill that would ban discrimination based on sexual orientation in matters of housing, employment and financial transactions.

The idiocy of this position is blatant: where other classifications are obvious, such as race or gender, the issue of homosexuality, which has no more place in the public mainstream discussion as a basis for classification then does the issue of heterosexuality, is no more worthy of protection then the issue of height or hair color.

Where does it stop? Is this a matter of public conduct.... or private conduct? Does this enable anyone to engage in any public activity anywhere without fear of career accountability?

The next time you hear a democrat sniveling about how The Columbian is "too far right," remember this little vignette.
