People are upset about the low turn out. I'm not: here's why.

Wow: turn out is, essentially, non-existent.  Earlier, I heard of a 22% projected level of ballots to be turned in.

That high?

Mine will certainly be one of them.

Why is this happening?

Well, the one thing... the one commonality... is that people no longer believe their votes matter.

As far as that goes, I believe that PEOPLE believe they no longer matter.

Why?  Politics has become a carcinogen that sickens all who touch it.

It is the science of disillusionment.  It is the turbo-charged lie where truth has zero meaning and accountability has become a commodity that has achieved the rarity of finding a diamond in your backyard.

Every campaign turns into a lie-fest.  The ability to discern truth from fiction has become muddled to the point that we EXPECT these people to lie.

Candidates sell out to the dollar at all levels.  For example, now, Cowlitz tribal money will shape the face of those elected because those running cannot resist the lure of their money and the inevitability of their rape.

I make it simple: I won't vote for anyone who takes a dime from them.

Ever.

Corruption, either actual or moral.

We so expect it that we have no desire to hold those who engage in the practice accountable for their acts.  We're so accustomed to being used, abused, ignored, raped... that we pay it no mind when it happens.

If we pay attention to politics at all, we voters are typically manipulated by the biases of a media and the butthurt into voting for their interests instead of those of the voter.  We become useful tools to those who pull the strings.

Look around.  Congress was universally reviled when the democrats controlled it.

Congress is universally reviled now that the Republicans control it.

With the change in who's running the show... what difference has it made?

None.

Locally, the hatred and division of the GOP plays directly into the hands of the left.  They support this GOP self-immolation; they're urging it, helping it, organizing it and financing it.

Fringe-leftist Jimmy Mains is running many of the RINO campaigns.

Why?  Is he only in it for the money, or is this all a part of a master plan?

He does, however, make it simple: I will always oppose anyone he supports or works for.

The clown running this county circus, for example, is my own brother-in-law, Marc Boldt, who became county chair with 39% of the vote.

We're led by a dull-normal moron put into place by a minority... a constant reminder that what 61% of us wanted... voted for... didn't happen and doesn't matter.

A clueless tool and sell out of the left who has systemically undone what the voters have repeatedly demanded at the polls; he ignores the voters to do Portland's bidding while he deflected the will of the people and laughed at the very idea of giving us a voice on his pet project, the CRC/Loot Rail.

The reality is that the support for this leftist jihad comes primarily from those who wasted $200 million on their scam.

In light of all of this, it's not surprising that turnout is so low.

What's surprising is that we have turnout at all.

Thank about that as you fill out your ballot this election... if you fill it out.

And think about it as long as you live.

Do not reward those who do this to us with your vote.

Take a stand.  Make a mark.

Do not go gentle into that good night.  Do not be manipulated.  Think for yourself... not the way others want you to think.

Pay attention.  Drill down.

Past is prologue... the betrayals of the past by those we've given power to, be they at the highest level (Clinton) or the local level (Boldt and Rivers) are mere harbingers of things to come.

The reality is this: I would rather have 10 people vote their beliefs based on their actual knowledge of the candidates than 10 million sheep voting based only on what they "feel," or what they "think they know."

I would rather you not vote if you base your decision on party, gender, color, religion or sexual orientation as the reasons for doing so.

To that end, I'm amazed as many people are voting now as the numbers actually indicate are bothering to vote.

And it doesn't upset me in the least.

They don't call it the Clinton News Network fer nuttin'

Maybe they were happy it was over, or maybe they were celebrating “history” being made — as they repeated all week — by their preferred candidate.

Regardless, cameras captured CNN anchor Wolf Blitzer and Chief Political Analyst Gloria Borger drinking wine and dancing with delegates as “Sweet Caroline” played over the loud speakers at the conclusion of the Democratic National Convention.

CNN aired video of the two taking it all in: Blitzer with a glass of white wine in his hand, and Borger clapping and singing along.

Watching the democrat train wreck.

It's a good day not to be a democrat.

Recent poll numbers and trends suck for the left; and "suck" is likely too tame a descriptor.

Bernie's sell out efforts went as expected both ways; first that he WOULD sell out and second, that many millions of his supporters don't care that he swindled them, and certainly don't care that he caved to Hillary... they are, to a large extent, united in their opposition to the woman that Bernie had been kind of beating the hell out of for the past 18 months or so.

The email dump is killing these guys.  The racism and bigotry the DNC emails expose; the corruption and efforts to rig the election against Bernie... all of these things combined with Hillary's criminal misconduct and lies over both Benghazi and her own email server peccadillo has led to hundreds of empty seats that the DNC is, apparently, PAYING people to sit in as an abortive attempt to make the convention look full...  as fake an effort as the DNC and their plantation mentality has ever done.

Will these numbers hold?

Since the start of the GOP convention (18 Jul) Trump is plus 4.5 in the RCP average.

Since the start of the DNC convention (25 Jul) Clinton is unchanged.

Yes, the DNC soirée is still going on... but every day is becoming another day of disaster for the left.

Hillary can and will claim ignorance.  But the former DNC chair, now a Hillary Co-Chair was working more for Hillary than she was for the DNC.  How could she not have known?

And if the shoe was on the other foot, and there was an email dump that had RNC staff talking about, say, hispanics under the label of "Taco Bowls," we wouldn't here the end of it from the left and their media hounds.

The democrats are operating in a hypocritical alternative universe.  And it's a great day to not be one of them.

The democratian is STILL infected with the CRC disease.

So, the rag's editorial sniveled about another traffic jam on the I-5 Bridge.

Like the rest of the downtown mafia and our local RINOs, the only perspective that matters to them is their's.  So, their heads beaten to a bloody pulp, they continue to act as if the last CRC Scam never happened.

The I-5 Bridge, of course, does not need to be replaced.  The only reason to replace it is to bring Loot Rail into Clark County, and we, of course, do not want it.

The obvious solution is at least 2 additional bridges, one to the east of I-205 (The Madore Option, for lack of a better term) and one to the west of the I-5 Bridge to, for example, Hillsboro.

Since the I-5 Bridge does not need to be replaced, the obvious solution to relieve congestion and numbers of vehicles on the I-5 Bridge is to set up the Portland bypass to allow the thousands of commuters to avoid Portland altogether by going from, say, Hazel Dell to Hillsboro via Cornelius Pass Rd or something in that vicinity.

A blind man could see it in a minute.

The local version of Pravda Izvestia knows all that, but once again, they want what they want and screw us.

The reality here is obvious: replacing a bridge that when completed, will reduce the southbound commute by 56 seconds for hundreds of millions of dollars and thousands per commuter in tolls is the kind of insanity that David Madore would have put an end to.

The insanity of the rag, printing the same stupidity over and over again while expecting a different outcome is simple:  The stupidity of replacing 3 southbound lanes with 3 southbound lanes on a perfectly functional bridge would have accomplished absolutely nothing to reduce the post-accident time issue from the other night.

Their incessant whining about traffic back ups would imply otherwise, of course, but anyone paying attention knows better, while also knowing that, as before, there is no lie, no exaggeration, no twisting of the truth the rag wouldn't use to get it's way... no matter how badly we got screwed in the process.

Clearly, they've learned nothing from getting hammered over the years for their dishonesty and stupidity.

The problem, a lack of capacity for a growing population, will become worse and worse.

Only additional bridges and capacity over the Columbia River will address it.

In this instance, bending us over for Portland and the scum still trying to ram loot rail down our throats will, hopefully meet the same defeat when they gear up to ram it down our throats once again.

So, who's the bigger liar: democrat Gov. Terry McCauliffe or democrat presidential nominee Hillary Clinton?

With Clinton cratering in the polls, this is the LAST thing she needed to have happen:

McAuliffe: Clinton would flip-flop on TPP

Story highlights

  • Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe said Hillary Clinton would flip-flop on a major trade deal
  • Clinton's campaign denied his claim as Donald Trump seized upon it
Philadelphia (CNN)Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe caused Hillary Clinton a political headache Tuesday night when he said he expects her to reverse her position on a major free trade deal.
Clinton has said on the campaign trail that she opposes the Trans-Pacific Partnership, a 12-nation trade deal negotiated by President Barack Obama's administration, citing its lack of provisions to crack down on currency manipulation.
But McAuliffe said in an interview with Politico that he believes she'd flip-flop and support the deal.
"I worry that if we don't do TPP, at some point China's going to break the rules -- but Hillary understands this," he said. "Once the election's over, and we sit down on trade, people understand a couple things we want to fix on it, but going forward, we got to build a global economy."
Pressed on whether Clinton would reverse her position, McAuliffe told Politico: "Yes. Listen, she was in support of it. There were specific things in it she wanted fixed."
Already, Republican nominee Donald Trump is seizing on McAuliffe's remarks as evidence Clinton is willing to flip-flop.
"Just like I have warned from the beginning, Crooked Hillary Clinton will betray you on the TPP," Trump tweeted.
