David Madore's John Laird screw up.

Last night, David Madore discovered what those actively engaged in politics know intuitively: it's a full contact sport.

This morning, John Laird unloaded on David Madore.  When all the smoke clears, however, David failed to understand that first, no one gives a rat's ass what a scumbag like Laird writes and second, when you're in the Omelet Making Business, a few eggs have to be broken.

Lesson One:

Madore was attacked for precisely the same reason that cancer on the butt of our community attacks me or anyone else: He opposes their agenda/candidates.

Lesson Two:

They will do anything they can to undercut and discredit any serious effort to compete with the candidates and causes they support.

Lesson Three:

To undercut your own efforts because of a weasel like Laird is to cede power to the mold that is the Columbian.

The ad campaign that this scumball wants you to "ignore" is accurate... on every level.

Here's the bottom line:  Had Madore's effort been in SUPPORT of the candidates/causes that Laird and the local version of Pravda WANT to see implemented... and written the same way about those OPPOSING these issues in support of their candidates, do you, for one minute, believe Laird or any of that cabal would have attacked Madore?

Of course not.

Bob Koski states it best:  "The flak is heaviest when you're over the target."

David Madore has lost heart.  In losing heart, which is his to lose, John Laird's column has succeeded, guaranteeing David Madore's political irrelevance.

Laird knows what all those in politics knows: anger is the force that moves an electorate.

Laird can't have this electorate moved.  He can't have people elected who actually oppose his agenda and that of the filthy rag he works for.  So what does he do?

The only thing he can do.  He attacks Madore in their ongoing attempt to discredit and belittle Madore.  He "Rule Fives" Madore (Look up Alinsky's Rules) in an effort to lessen Madore's impact.  And he causes Madore to be plagued with self-doubt.

Madore has to realize that there is NOTHING he can do about any attacks because they will keep coming NO MATTER HOW HE PRESENTS HIS VIEW AS LONG AS THAT VIEW CONFLICTS WITH THAT OF THE RAG ATTACKING HIM NOW.

He can be nice.  It won't matter.

He can be professorial.  It won't matter.

He can actually believe that leftist scum like Laird are only in it for altruistic reasons.  It won't matter.

Oppose them at any serious level and in ANY WAY, and they will do everything they can to discredit you...NO MATTER HOW YOU GO ABOUT IT.

Well, here's the deal, David: if you let a scumbag like Laird impact what you do and how you do it in ANY WAY, then you are in the wrong business and it's time for you to wiz on the fire and call in the dogs.

You see, I CANNOT OVERSTATE Lard's insignificance.  He's a rank hypocrite on so many levels, a fringe-left whack job who lives to attack, to exaggerate, to lie.  That's what he is.  That's what he does.

It seems that David is shaken up by this whole thing.  And that's a shame, really, because he had the ability to be a contender.

No longer.

He's like a fighter who stepped in the ring and quit the fight because he actually got hit.

WHAT THE HELL DID YOU THINK WAS GOING TO HAPPEN?

Do yourself a favor, David: get out.  Your altruistic view of politics as some kind of polite debating society is guaranteed to just drain your bank account and accomplish nothing, while scum like Laird continue to hold you up as a piƱata and beat the hell out of you.

Because now, all you've done is hand victory over to your enemies by running away from your own positions and destroying the credibility of the message.

FedEx screw ups.

Many are legendary... mine?

Not so much, but a screw up, never the less.

I don't drink or smoke.  In fact, coffee is pretty much my only vice.

I go through a great many coffee makers... so the expense adds up.  Made the decision to buy a commercial grade Bunn coffee set up that brews into thermal carafes... a little spendier up front, but longer lasting.

It was supposed to be delivered today.

The guy shows up, drops off nothing, and leaves a sticker on the door, notifying FedEx that
Customer not available or business closed
Well, of course I was here.  I was working on my deck in back of my house... he MUST have heard the noise... and we heard a car door slam.  We believed it to be a friend of ours coming over to help, because the thought never occurred to us that with a driveway full of cars and making more noise than a steel factory the simple idiot wouldn't either walk around the house or leave the damned package at the door.... but NOOOOOO.  As a result, we didn't run around the house to see who it was.

So, a few minutes after I hear the door slam with nobody coming around back, we checked out front of the house and there was no one there.  My wife asked,"do you think that might have been FedEx?"  So I went out front to the porch this time and checked... and all there was was a small sticker on the door.  This was, oh, maybe 4 minutes after we heard the car door slam.

So, I immediately get on line and I check the package status, and, sure enough... the insert above is what it showed.

Well, I immediately got on the phone to FedEx... and was told that this clown wasn't a FedEx employee, he was a contractor, and as a result, he didn't have a terminal in his vehicle and could only be told to turn around and bring the package back if he happened to call in... and the moment that idiot said that, I knew it wasn't going to happen.

THEN, I am told, well, gee: their "delivery cycle" was "Tuesday through Saturday."

That means, through no fault of my own, the package I paid for will now not get here until Tuesday... and I am obviously going to be held prisoner until this moron actually delivers it.

What a crock.

Lesson learned, however: I will dive into a vat of boiling hydrochloric acid before I ever use FedEx again.

You have GOT to be fricken kidding me: Cross-dressing teacher OK in Vancouver school

No.  It's not OK and I would yank my kid, first from that moron's class, then from a school district that allows such nonsense.

This kind of crap is absurd.  What would the district's response be if any student's showed up cross-dressing?  You know damned well they'd send him home.  The whole point is to eliminate disruption and distraction... and these clowns are now institutionalizing it.

Idiots.

Some clowns APPLAUD this idiot and his moronic school district, now that the rag has finally gotten around to publishing this story:

Gregory Dennis · Top Commenter
Why is this news? If the teacher was compentent and was respectful toward students and administration, who cares what was worn. Shame on the Columbian for pandering to the usual social conservatives by posting this as "news". And shame on the students who were disruptive.
  • Good for the district! However, instead of removing snickering students, it might be a better to educate them on diversity. Not everybody dresses, acts, looks, or believes in the same thing.

  •
  • Pienkowski Christine · · Top Commenter

  • That must have taken incredible courage and determination. Applause!

  • Of course, if he decided to go naked?  Obviously, that's his right, and those who didn't like it... well, they're bigots... and they don't understand diversity.

Or if it was a woman showing up topless... well, would THAT have been "courage" to be "applauded?"

For the few of the clowns supporting this nonsense who actually work in the private sector, ask yourself: how long would it take for an idiot like this to get fired if he showed up dress like a female?

Just another reason to despise fringe left teachers and their fellow travelers.

VANCOUVER, Wash. (AP) — The Evergreen School District is telling Vancouver parents it has no problem with a male substitute teacher who dresses like a woman as long as he follows the dress code that prohibits outfits that are too short, too tight or low cut.

KATU reports (http://bit.ly/u4gt4G ) the sub filled in Wednesday at a humanities class at Wy'East Middle School. Some kids who were laughing and making jokes were pulled out of class.

The district says the sub has worked in the school district 19 days this school year at 13 different schools.

Gregoire screws it up again: cutting the next budget means cutting public worker's pay, numbers and benefits.

The only thing left to cut to raise any of the various numbers required will be the numbers, pay and benefits of state government workers... including teachers.

Gregoire, who is a lame duck governor, should know that.

Serious additional cuts MUST be made in PEOPLE... not programs.  State workers must be given the option of resigning; being laid off, or given substantial pay and benefit cuts.

Yet, as near as I can tell, her budget does not reflect that.

It's almost like the days where we were, apparently, SWIMMING in money, since she jacked up both the Lieutenant Governor's budget AND her own in excess of 30%... in ONE YEAR.

This kind of thing is how we got into this mess in the first place... because we do the thing we need to do first... gets done last.

Willamette Week brings it again: the stupidity of Tim "The Liar" Leavitt and the pro-bridge/pro-loot rail city council members cannot be overstated.

Willamette Week beats the hell out of the CRC.... again.

    The Runaway Bridge Budget

State transportation officials stood by as planning costs for the Interstate 5 Columbia River Crossing ballooned.

The freeway project Oregon and Washington want to build across the Columbia River has already cost taxpayers $136 million.
This cost comes largely from paying consultants to design, plan and push for the project, known as the Columbia River Crossing, or CRC.
The cost of the project has been reported before. But for the first time, it’s clear why those costs skyrocketed.
Documents reviewed by WW show that a single contract initially estimated at $20 million has climbed to $105 million.
The contract grew because Oregon and Washington officials kept rewarding the contractor, Portland-based David Evans and Associates, even though the firm had burned through its money long before finishing the work.
The costs include the price of working for years on a bridge design experts later said was unbuildable. The result: We now have a project that’s 18 months behind schedule and costs more than five times the original estimate.
Records show Oregon and Washington officials sent the cost of the original David Evans contract soaring, from $50 million to $95 million, with a single change to the deal. That change was done quietly and with little public scrutiny.
WashDOT Deputy Secretary David Dye insists both states’ transportation agencies monitored costs carefully and only approved expenditures after identifying specific, necessary tasks. “We have very rigorous internal processes,” Dye says.
He says the complexity of the planning process made sticking to the $20 million estimate impossible.
“The environmental process up front has so many variables, and there is so much that can happen,” Dye says. “It is very volatile and very difficult to estimate.”
The hidden story of this deal, called the master contract, doesn’t bode well for the $3.5 billion freeway project.
The CRC calls for building a new Interstate 5 bridge, widening the freeway, adding a series of ramps, and extending light rail from Portland to Vancouver.
The project is aimed at reducing the traffic congestion that now plagues I-5 near the Oregon-Washington border.
But as WW has reported, the CRC’s own documents show the project won’t solve traffic problems, and that state officials based their cost estimates on inaccurate traffic projections (“A Bridge Too False,” WW, June 1, 2011). WW has also reported that state officials continue to mislead the public about the number of jobs the project will create (“Not True, Times Ten,” WW, June 15, 2011).
    More:

As we all know by now, the scam to rebuild SR 520, the Evergreen Point Floating Bridge to get lo0ot rail over THAT has headed far north of $400 million... with not one shovel of dirt getting turned... so we have a great distance to go before the local scammers catch up to our brethren in Seattle...

... but we seem to be working on it.

Campbell endorses Turlay, MO throws a snit, believes the voters are stupid.

Things are not going well for Ann McEnerny-Ogle, aka MO.

First, it seems the Hilton employee's Union just picked her through random chance.. kind of like winning the lottery... to drop a $32,000 check on her.  They must have done it because she has red hair color, because to hear her tell it, there can't be any other reason:
She vehemently denied being involved in any labor negotiations, including those with the Hilton Vancouver Washington, whose parent organization spent $32,557 last week to independently mail fliers on her behalf. She has not spoken to anyone with the Downtown Redevelopment Authority -- which approves the Hilton's budget -- or on the city council about the heated negotiations.

Second, it's pretty clear that she's an unhappy lil' trooper because of Campbell's endorsement:
McEnerny-Ogle said that Campbell's barbs at her were "absolutely negative and false." She said she had no clue as to what Campbell meant when he said she makes rash promises and plays people.
"I've made no promises other than working with community so that they would have a voice in the issues when making decisions. I don’t think that’s rash," McEnerny-Ogle said. "Play people -- that’s a volatile word. That’s a pretty ugly statement that I play people. I have never played people."
This tends to show a lack of maturity while re-enforcing her reputation as being a junior version of Jeanne "Gavel Down" Harris.

Until this endorsement, I was leaning towards MO pulling it off.  But this rash of bad publicity and her temper tantrum in the paper?

Now I lean the other way.

So, what happens when a Downtown Mafia, Identity Vancouver member finds out SHE is gonna get screwed by the CRC?

GREAT article in the democratian this morning.

    The money quote?
Gillian Wallis wants to make it clear she’s not a Columbia River Crossing obstructionist. She’s not among those who are against light rail and tolls or wants a third bridge instead.

Then she's a total, blithering, idiot.

I'm reminded of that old quote:
First they came for the communists,
    and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a communist.

Then they came for the trade unionists,
    and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a trade unionist.

Then they came for the Jews,
    and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a Jew.

    Then they came for me
and there was no one left to speak out for me.
She's not the first hypocrite to get nailed by her own inactivity.  And even after all that, she's such an example of the downtown "Hear, Speak, Say no evil" crowd that it's enough to make me sick.

    And then, THIS nonsense:
But she does think that the decision to demolish the 1920 Lucky Lager building at Fourth and Columbia streets — the one she owns — to put in a parking garage for light-rail commuters was done without enough, if any, public input.
    Seriously?

    Public input?

There was NO public input.  On ANY of this.

Oh, I know there were the dog and pony shows, where opinions were sought out... and then promptly forgotten/ignored.

But the ONLY input that matters?  A vote of the people?

    Nope.  Can't have that.

Well, Gillian, this here's my smallest violin.

I sincerely hope when the time comes to tear your building down that they do to you that which, up until now, you were silently advocating they do to us:

    Financially screw you sideways.

To Gillian: this couldn't have happened to a nicer "guy."

And, as always, I advocate a little "whine" with that cheese.

Actor Orlando Jones = True scumbag. Hey, Orlando... how would YOU like it if a conservative were to advocate that the president be assassinated?

    The Jawa Report dishes:
Actor Orlando Jones: Liberals Need to Kill Sarah Palin
    Newsbusters:
Actor Orlando Jones on Saturday celebrated the death of Libya's Moammar Gaddafi by taking to his Twitter account and calling for American liberals to kill Sarah Palin.

    OJ_kill sarah palin.jpg

    File this under assmaggots, again.
I'll take it a step further, scumbag: what if someone out there were to advocate that YOU be killed?

    I bet you'd LOVE that.

I will walk in front of a moving Max train before I ever watch another program with this asshole in it.

The First Food Nazi is upset that the truth is being told about her.

Some of the many problems the Obama's have include the fact that he lies with an incredible ease, and she is a rank hypocrite.

Her development of the food Gestapo (Really?  School bake sales are now illegal?) flies in the face of what SHE eats and what SHE feeds HER kids.

We've chatted about this before: the tin ears born to her husband don't stop there.

Obama babbles about "shared sacrifice" and then lives a life-style that would have caused Nero to drop his fiddle in astonishment right next to the campfire that was Rome.

Weekly parties, lavish separate vacations, and food choices that the vast majority of us couldn't dream of affording, let alone eating if we want to live all that long.

Anywho, The First Food Nazi is a bit upset.  She's suffering some heartburn over Paula Deen's new book that accurately portrays Michelle Obama as a high-end version of Ms. Piggy.

Yet, from another sources, here's a few of the goodies our First Food SS Officer has used to stuff her pie-hole:

Actually, by the look of the article, it seems like rarely is more accurate. Here are a few samples of her desserts, taken directly from the article.

    Napoleon crĆØme brĆ»lĆ©e

    A 15-layer carrot cake

Bittersweet molten chocolate cake with cappuccino ice cream

    Blueberry kulfi and apple jalabi

    Strawberry shortcake

A log-shaped, flourless chocolate cake with a rosemary ganache

    Warm ricotta beignets

Blueberry sorbet – Note from the author: “She passed up the tiramisu.” Such willpower.

A perfectly balanced warm chocolate bread pudding

    Banana cream pie

Key lime pie, bread pudding and banana pineapple cake (shared)

    Birthday cake
Let’s look at some of the appetizers – she doesn’t seem to miss many of those – and main courses. Here are a few of her meals:
Soft-shell crab cooked tempura style with a ratatouille sauce; an “ethereal lobster burger” with scallop mousse and housemade chips

    Rack of lamb

Fried green tomatoes, avocado and corn salsa and tomato relish (shared); fried oysters; a hanger steak with fried onion rings and succotash

Butter poached lobster on butternut squash with a brown butter emulsion; venison au poivre and corn cake

Watermelon salad with feta; fried oyster po’ boy; followed by samples of other items on the table: seafood crepe, shrimp and grits and buttermilk biscuits.

All this from a woman who demands that we feed OUR kids carrot sticks and tofu.

And Michelle Obama CAN stuff that pie hole!

AMERICAN GROWN FOOD FIGHT! OBAMA vs. DEAN!

First lady MICHLLE OBAMA fuming as PAULA DEEN dishes on her unhealthy eating habits despite new book “American  Grown” PR blitz!

MICHELLE OBAMA is now furious with Southern cooking queen PAULA DEEN for crowing that the first lady, a healthy-eating advocate who’s waging a war against childhood obesity, pigs out on fattening foods.
While plugging her new book, “Paula Deen’s Southern Cooking Bible,” the feisty TV chef took a pot shot at Michelle for gorging herself on greasy french fries, fatty hot chicken wings and sugary deep-fried Snickers bars!

“Michelle’s spitting mad,” a source told The ENQUIRER.

“She thinks Paula is trying to smear her and her family just as the 2012 presidential election race swings into gear.”

The trouble first began before Barack Obama was even elected president in 2008, when Michelle made a guest appearance on Deen’s popular “Paula’s Party” show and revealed that fried shrimp was her family’s favorite meal.

A typical Russell supporter: your[sic] still going to loose.[sic]

For anyone to actually support Russell or his stooges, they have to be both functionally illiterate AND stupid.Delete One wonders:  what, exactly, does "loose" mean in this instance?

    Anonymous said...

Keep digging man, your still going to loose.
    12:16 PM

    "Loose" what?

Does this anonymous clown mean LOSE?

Well, I've been in politics just long enough to know that anything can happen.  After all, look at Vancouver.  They actually elected a slime ball like Tim "The Liar" Leavitt as mayor... so anything CAN happen.

But is it likely that scum like Jon Russell actually has any political support among the rank and file?

Anyone paying attention knows he's a liar with the integrity of a hyena.

He DOES seem self-deluded enough to actually believe that his endorsement in the democratian actually HELPED these people, instead of clobbering them...

But that is what I believe to be the case.  That is, Russell's ongoing, pathological ability to lie is a symptom of his self-delusion.

And in this case, there is practically no chance that this repeatedly failed candidate's puppets are going to win.  The people of Washougal seem to have had enough, a fact Russell has ferreted out... as he makes nice with Ann Rivers and actually posts over his OWN NAME.

But yeah, the run of the mill Russell supporter is ignorant and expresses him or herself this way.  And will that make any difference at the polls?

    Cross-posted at Jon Russell Watch.

Jon Russell condemns the candidates he's running to electoral death.

Around these parts, few have the high degree of political leprosy exhibited by Jon Russell, failed congressional and state representative candidate, and lame duck city council member Russell, who is acting as the puppeteer in his efforts to take over the city government has condemned them to likely overwhelming defeat by his public endorsement.

Russell, a rank political liar with zero integrity, has endorsed his slate of four that he believes will do his bidding:

Russell, of course, is a pathological liar.

In his campaigns, he's lied, repeatedly, about his own identity, making up fake facebook identities, fake newspaper/blog commenting identities so he can attack those he opposes, even after being outed by his own wife; lied repeatedly, over a period of several months, EVEN AFTER BEING OUTED BY THE DEMOCRATIAN about his education.  he's lied about his wife being a doctor.  He lied about what "precincts he won" in Washougal as he was getting his ass kicked in the primary. He's lied about how much money he's raised for his campaigns.

He even lies about being a conservative, having worked VERY hard to ram tax increases down our throats by making 5 figure salaries in his efforts pass the Port Levy and the Library Levy.  Major tax increases that no true conservative would ever support.

In fact, when it comes to his efforts to impress people, there's really damned little he HASN'T lied about.

As a Washougal city councilor, I recommend four candidates for the council. Caryn Plinski in Position 2 understands the need for economic growth through tourism and business recruitment and retention. Plinski’s a political outsider, quick study, and brings exceptional conflict-resolution skills to the table. Michael Delavar in Position 4 has a strong focus on protecting the taxpayers. Delavar’s differing points of view brings balance to any issue facing the city. Jennifer McDaniel in Position 5 is knowledgeable, considerate and focused; the steady hand our council needs. Connie Jo Freeman in Position 7 is a woman of action in regards to government spending and public safety. Freeman will put Washougal’s interests first.
    Jon Russell
    Washougal
And now, he's lying about those he supports. So MANY lies packed into so few words.

    So, he recommends Plinski.

This is the same Plinski that's blown off every election since she arrived in Washougal except for two general elections.  She hadn't even ATTENDED a COUNCIL MEETING, EVER, until September 19.

That means she has been completely unengaged politically... until Russell talked her into running.

    And this pap:
understands the need for economic growth through tourism and business recruitment and retention. Plinski’s a political outsider, quick study, and brings exceptional conflict-resolution skills to the table.
According to who, besides a liar like Russell who would sell his own mother to get elected?  Precisely WHAT demonstrates ANY of this?  The fact that the woman sells make up?

What a complete, and utter lying moron.
Michael Delavar in Position 4 has a strong focus on protecting the taxpayers. Delavar’s differing points of view brings balance to any issue facing the city.
"Differing points of view" are Russell-speak for "because he agrees with me" his views "bring balance" (what the hell does THAT mean?)

    And THIS beaut:
Connie Jo Freeman in Position 7 is a woman of action in regards to government spending and public safety. Freeman will put Washougal’s interests first.
Freeman is a school bus driver with a fake degree... the fake degree part being part and parcel of Russell's OWN politics.

Russell wants to become the defacto mayor by packing the council with his lackeys.  Unfortunately for those he;'s endorsed, his endorsement is likely the end of their political careers.

Russell is radioactive. And anyone getting his endorsement should run in the opposite direction as fast as possible.

Cross posted at Jon Russell Watch.

McEnerny-Ogle: Jeannie Harris revisited, and the unions are getting what they're paying for.

Much is made of M.O.'s tenure on the planning commission.  But is anything made of the fact that she couldn't get re-appointed?

We already have a Jeannie Harris.  Do we need another one?
“Staff has received a few complaints about both incumbents. In the case of Commissioner McEnerny Ogle, the complaints relate to the way she has treated applicants and their representatives. Some complained that her questioning was unnecessarily harsh and her comments demeaning, particularly related to treatment of school district personnel. There have also been complaints that some of her decisions were made based on personal prejudices, not the decision criteria in the Development Code.”
Is comparing McEnerny-Ogle to Jeannie "Gavel Down" Harris legitimate?  It certainly could be... and here's another comparison that raises my hackles:

Tim "The Liar" Leavitt was elected with the help of illegal campaign contributions, money laundered through the hotel unions that started from a union in Seattle, was laundered through a union in New York, and dry-cleaned by a local in Portland (Unite Here?  Are you kidding me?) and done with the support of the unions in the Pollard Hilton (How's THAT for irony?)

Well, check THIS out:  How much does McEnerny-Ogle cost?

    $32,556.65.

The SAME union that laundered money for Tim "The Liar" Leavitt is NOW laundering money for Anne McEnerny-Ogle.

So now, we're faced with the possibility of getting not only a version of Gavel Down Harris, but a version of Tim "The Liar" Leavitt as well.

Now that the word is out, do ya think the rag is going to beat up the unions for AGAIN laundering money and AGAIN doing for MO what they did for Leavitt?

This expenditure answers a lot of questions about MO: She's for the bridge and loot rail, and she'll be a guaranteed "yes" for tax and fee increases

    Lovely.

    The slime of Vancouver.

BTW, vote for Turlay and Wentzel.  You could do a lot, lot, worse.  Just take a look at McEnerny-Ogle, for example.

There are lies, damned lies and Jaime Herrera (Beutler)

We are cursed with a weak-kneed cowardess representing us in congress, one Jaime Herrera.

She has, on occasion, shown herself to be fully capable of lying. She lied about the impacts of her 2010 co-sponsored SEIU bill that would have required day care workers to be unionized and daycare owners to pay their dues; she lied about helping the democrats to empty out the state's emergency fund, and she lied about being off the floor of the legislature so she could campaign and attend fundraisers, like in Washington, D.C. as a part of her congressional campaign in the midst midst of legislative session last year.

So when she whines and snivels about the many efforts to hold our empty-suited cardboard cut out of a congressperson accountable... well, lies are aplenty.

It takes a complete, tin-eared moron not to realize that failing to hold open town hall meetings are a part of the job... but failing to hold such meetings while simultaneously soliciting bribes in the form of $2500 a pop campaign donations with The Speaker?

That takes a level of idiocy that really is hard to describe.

    So, what does she do?

Instead of manning up, admitting she made a mistake in judgement and promising that it wouldn't happen again, the Potomac Princess has one of her staff write a letter to the editor,. no doubt at the behest of her keeper, the interfering Cathy McMorris Rogers... who lives in and represents the other side of the state.

Because McMorris, more often then not, HAS to be shaking her head at the rampant stupidity of the Frankensteinian Monster she created out of whole cloth.

What's the letter say? What does it matter? It's just more Bart Simpson BS.

What the Camas Manikin doesn't get is there is precisely zero excuse for failing to face her constituents... or even people who live outside the district, since her empty-headed votes also impact them.

But she lacks the guts... the commitment... the nerve to do that.

No, she wants her lackeys to carefully screen the great unwashed so she doesn't get her skirts stained with the "filth of the masses."

Once again, our simple idiot has proven that she'd be everything I knew she'd be... and less.

Hopefully, one day she'll grow up and, frankly, grow a pair. Because right now, she comes across as the spoiled rotten punk she's always been.

Another reason to boycott the NFL: NFL Star Fined For Calling Wife Mid-Game to Say He Was Okay

Regular readers know I've been avoiding the NFL games (as much as possible) because of their corporate bigotry.

Well, added to the impetus of bigotry, comes the bizarre idea that Pittsburgh safety Troy Polamalu should be fined $10,000 for calling his wife from the sidelines during a game to reassure her that he was all right after being removed from a game for a suspected concussion.

The NFL's non-reasoning is just another hint that they don't have a clue when it comes to public perception and reality.

    Did Troy break the rules?

    Sure did.

Could the NFL have taken a clue from the clue-bin and figured out that instead of tuning this into chicken poop, they could have turned it into chicken salad?

    Sure could.

But they didn't.  And this is just another reason, for me, to change the channels.

And to the Powerblock show "Muscle Car," that I watched instead of the pre-game shows, thanks for showing that freshening a posi rear end isn't that much of a mystery after all.

    And screw the NFL.

    More lies from Brancaccio?

In his weekly spew posted today, Brancaccio wrote this:
    Liberal or conservative?
    What am I?
A few weeks ago, I raised this issue: Was it fair that private taxpayers contribute to government worker pensions even though most private workers have no pension of their own?
I never got a straight answer from anyone, but because I raised the question, I was given a label:
    A conservative.
Then last week we began coverage of the Occupy Vancouver protest. One of my good conservative friends — Lew Waters — was outraged at how much coverage we gave it. He made note that six months ago, we failed to cover a Tea Party event here. And that was the smoking gun for Lew that proved I was one thing for certain:
    A liberal.
Of course, making proclamations based on one event is a little silly, but we’ve got lots of silly stuff going on, especially in the blogosphere. I decided to check how many times we mentioned “Tea Party” in stories — local and national — and letters to the editor.
    More than 800 times!
Looks like we have lots of Occupy stories to do before we catch up.
Still, Lew stuck to his smoking gun.
“Those that claim (you have a) conservative bias are either high on drugs or so far left, Joseph Stalin is conservative to them.”
    And so it goes.
Lou Brancaccio is The Columbian’s editor. Reach him at 360-735-4505 or lou.brancaccio@columbian.com.
Brancaccio and his despicable rag have not shown themselves not to be beyond lying in the past on a wide variety of subjects.

He, personally, has lied about me, for example.

But in this case, he lied when he wrote that he "...never got a straight answer from anyone."

You see, on this blog, in response to that question, he has received a straight answer from ME on different occasions where I've laid it out in detail.

But what should we have expected?

If Christ himself came down and told us that Brancaccio was a fringe-left whack job, he would never acknowledge it, accept it... or more importantly, admit it, at least publicly.

But I left a note on his article even telling him that I would be happy to explain it all to him.... for the hundredth time... all he had to do was ask.

But you see, Brancaccio doesn't want to hear from me.  My little remarks on his web site are hidden from those except on my friend list.  I don't know if Lou, himself, can see them.

But the evidence of his leftist bias is overwhelming, as is the evidence that shows and documents his lack of integrity along with the rest of the manure pile he works for.

In this case, rewording what he wrote in a truthful way, what he MEANT to write was this:

"There's a mountain of evidence out there to support the proposition that, in fact, I am a liberal.  The documented bias for democrat candidates; for massive, unwanted projects without a vote from the people, the lies to support the positions on his agenda which are inevitably leftist, the attacks by him and his pit yorkie, John Laird on those wise enough to oppose his positions... his incessant yammering, along with that mutt Laird, over screwing the entire county to get a ballpark on the public dime to enrich the Yakima Millionaires by forcing the 400,000 of us who will never set foot in it to pay the tax for it... except he, of course, doesn't volunteer his newspaper to pay it... he just volunteers his fishwrapper to make money off of it... the cover up for democrats like his complete failure to expose Jim Jacks' alcohol-fueled misconduct toward female staff in the Legislature... all because he lacked a "paper trail" as if the ONLY way to get the story is to read what someone else has written... the list goes on.... and on..... and on.  All of which, yeah, well, pretty much shows I'm a leftist whack job."

For hundreds of examples, a quick search of this blog would suffice.

    And his lying response?

    What he wrote up there.

In the end, like any other leftist, no amount of proof, no evidence, no statement... none of that would get him to admit the truth.  So my guess the question is.... why bother?

His protestations notwithstanding, we all know what he is and what that cancer on our local community is all about.

That he would claim he "never got a straight answer from anyone?"  That kind of reminds that the people living across the street from the concentration camp at Dachau really had no idea what was going on in there.

Like Brancaccio, if they didn't know... it's because they didn't want to know.

Because for Lou to acknowledge the truth would destroy him... and finish off that rag he works for.

And imagine how much better off we'd all be... and will all be... when that cancer goes permanently bankrupt... and Brancaccio goes back to wherever it is he came from.

More trouble for the Russell Posse: Caryn Plinski? She's only voted twice since she got here.

Yup... she's blown off the general every year except 08 and 10.

    She's not voted in a primary...ever.

Yet ANOTHER candidate wannabe that can't find time to vote?

Good God, Jon.... don't you VET the sock puppets you have running for you?

So, why would you want to be a city councilwoman when you rarely vote... like once in 10 years?

I've got documentation which indicates that candidate for Washougal city council, Nicole "Niki" Anderson has only voted once... in the last decade!

Here's a snap of Niki Anderson's voting record... a public document, I might add.

I have verified this through the Sound Politics Voter Database:

    CRANDERSONNICOLEF272oMAIN STWASHOUGAL2004-NOV-021974-DEC-041998-DEC-05PA318910

Yes, the last time Anderson voted seems to be November of 2004.  In fact, it seems to be the ONLY time she's voted in the last decade.

Now, we've had other examples of those running for office who failed to take this responsibility seriously:

Tim "The Liar" Leavitt comes to mind.  The bizarre aspect here is that Leavitt blew off voting WHILE HE WAS ELECTED TO THE VANCOUVER CITY COUNCIL.

Then, who can forget the legendary County Assessor candidate, Janet Seekins, who hadn't voted in the entirety of her LIFE.  (The rag endorsed her anyway... because, well, she was running as a democrat.)

In this instance, and in the interests of consistency and non-hypocrisy, I can't view Niki Anderson as someone I would want elected to anything either.

After all, the last time anyone was elected around here with a horrific record of voting in the general or in primaries it was The Liar Leavitt.  And he's turned out to be an unmitigated disaster of Obama-esque proportions.

Cross posted at Jon Russell Watch.

Sometimes, I can even agree with Keith Olbermann: Jaime Herrera, one of the worst people in the world.

Regular readers now know of my outrage at the cardboard cutout of a congresswoman's cowardly efforts to hide her meeting with constituents in Centralia, an effort that, via Politico, caught the eye of Keith Olbermann, uber-fringe leftist hate monger.

Citing that Politco story, Olbermann blasted Ridgefield Barbie thusly:
Our runner-up? Tea party freshman Congresswoman Jaime Herrera Beutler of the state of Washington. She conducted a town hall in Centralia, Washington on Monday, and tried to keep it a secret from her constituents.
Her communications director admits he called the local newspaper last week to ask them to not publish a notice about the Congresswoman’s town hall in her own district. He said Herrera Butler’s event was invitation only. This was so true that one couple called the congresswoman’s office and was told no town hall was scheduled.
In May, Herrera Beutler held a true town hall and got fricasseed by the voters angry over the Republican budget that would have crippled Medicare. Communications Director Casey Bowman said that the decision to keep a Congresswoman’s public appearance private was to prevent people from coming in and saying “whatever’s on their minds.” He added, “When word gets in the paper, you get a certain set of people.”
Yes! They’re called citizens! It’s one thing to be tone-deaf during your one term, Congresswoman. It’s another to be intentionally deaf to the voters by sticking your fingers in your ears.
This is proof that both the right.... and even the far-fringe, out of this solar system left can occasionally agree.  When their congresswoman is acting like a cowardly moron, it's not hard to have a meeting of the minds.

Democratian throws a fit for a Madore mailer: parses like Jon Russell about it.

So, a mailer goes out that blasts the current city council, political psycho Jeannie "Gavel Down" Harris and Mayor Tim "The Liar" Leavitt.

It asks the rhetorical question: Want more of the same?

The rag, of course, writes like the people they support are paying them... there was a mistake on the date of the election, and the observation, wrongly challenged by the rag, that VANCOUVER has the highest unemployment in the state, certainly of any major city in Washington.

The rag points out that the election date is wrong... while completely overlooking their own website.

    You know, this little tidbit?

    See that?

This self-righteous sewer attacks the mailer... while THEY mislabel their endorsements for THIS election as if they were the LAST election's endorsements.

And their weak, irrelevant response on the unemployment rate, aimed at the observation that Vancouver... VANCOUVER has the highest unemployment in the state?
The latest revised unemployment figures show that four other counties had higher unemployment than Clark County, said Scott Bailey, regional economist for the Washington Employment Security Department.
I'm sorry.  I missed where the claim on the mailer indicated that CLARK COUNTY had the highest unemployment rate.

See, it never claimed that CLARK COUNTY DID.

It said that VANCOUVER had the highest unemployment.  And nothing the rag printed here shows otherwise... unless they've mistaken the entirety of Clark County as equating to the City of Vancouver.

The biggest joke in the article is, of course, from those on the mailer... which once again reminds everyone of who they are in the run up to the NEXT elections...
Leavitt, who has often sparred with Madore, said he was turned off by the ads. He said they “smack of hypocrisy.”

“When you ascribe to Christian principles of ‘Treat others as you wish to be treated’ and ‘Speak the truth,’ the contradiction and hypocrisy is on display for everybody to observe,” the mayor said.
This from a slimeball who has publicly and repeatedly attacked Madore?

There's some hypocrisy goin' on around here, Liar... and like the stink of your corruption, emanates from YOU.

And then THIS joke from "Gavel Down":
Harris called the choice to use her image in the ads unfortunate.
“As a citizen, what I’m looking for in people who want to serve on city council are those that have the desire to work together productively for the good of the community to move Vancouver forward.“
THIS from arguably the biggest thug on the council?
Reading that from Harris made me throw up in my mouth a little bit.

Politically, Gavel Down and The Liar ARE the face of the city council.  And, of course, if they don't like it, they can always quit... because they damned sure won't be missed.

So, yeah... tying Smith, Hansen and McEnerny-Ogle to Tim "The Liar" Leavitt and Jeannie "Gavel Down" Harris is a solid political move that is absolutely accurate... since they all want to ram loot rail and a bridge we don't need or can afford and permanent tolls down our throat.

So, we can now expect editorial howls of outrage from Brancaccio and Laird... who have done far worse when you oppose THEM. Every hour on the hour, they will come after Madore like he was a child molester... because that's how those slime roll.

Just ask Peter Van Nortwick. Or Brent Boger.

    Or me.

That the rag and the fringe leftists... and the Mayor... and Harris... have reacted so violently to this mailer speaks to its effectiveness.

In reality, the only mistake is a typo... on the date.  And, well, as the picture above shows, that can happen to the best of us.

    Right, Lou?

As if the rip off of Solyndra wasn't enough: Car Company Gets U.S. Loan, Builds Cars..... In Finland

Fresh from the moron zone of vaporizing roughly $1.50 or so for every man, woman and child in the United States today, our president has decided to rip us off again with another loan for electric cars that no one is going to buy (like the Volt) but THIS time... the company...

    ...is in Finland.

    Finland.

    The excuse?
"...it could not find a facility in the United States capable of doing the work."
Swell.  Then don't give anyone a loan.

In this case, it's ANOTHER quid-pro-quo for an Obama bundler: he got the Empty Suit the campaign cash, so Obama gets the treasury printing presses to work a few minutes of OT and there you have it.

Tell me again why these clowns haven't been perp-walked out of the White House?
Car Company Gets U.S. Loan, Builds Cars In Finland

PHOTO: Vice president Joe Biden, left, and Henrik Fisker, CEO of Fisker Automotive announces that the company will produce plug-in hybrid electric vehicles.

With the approval of the Obama administration, an electric car company that received a $529 million federal government loan guarantee is assembling its first line of cars in Finland, saying it could not find a facility in the United States capable of doing the work.
Vice President Joseph Biden heralded the Energy Department's $529 million loan to the start-up electric car company called Fisker as a bright new path to thousands of American manufacturing jobs. But two years after the loan was announced, the job of assembling the flashy electric Fisker Karma sports car has been outsourced to Finland.
"There was no contract manufacturer in the U.S. that could actually produce our vehicle," the car company's founder and namesake told ABC News. "They don't exist here."
Henrik Fisker said the U.S. money so far has been spent on engineering and design work that stayed in the U.S., not on the 500 manufacturing jobs that went to a rural Finnish firm, Valmet Automotive.
"We're not in the business of failing; we're in the business of winning. So we make the right decision for the business," Fisker said. "That's why we went to Finland."
    More:

There's no excuse for this... no explanation that doesn't reek of corruption.

isn't this the kind of thing the #OWS people are sniveling about?
